Cherie Altea’s long-awaited first solo exhibition in Manila is here, coinciding with her 5th year of remission. “One Sunrise at a Time” is a powerful reflection on the cultures, communities, and experiences that shaped her journey through life’s many challenges.
Timed for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this exhibition offers a space for dialogue and celebrates those who have found joy and meaning beyond grief and loss. Altea’s vibrant, maximalist artworks—depicting her signature overthinking women—are not to be missed.
